Surveys
Audubon’s Important Bird Areas Program needs citizen-scientists to conduct bird surveys on our IBAs. If you live near an IBA, or are visiting one, you can contribute by conducting a bird survey on one of these critical landscapes.
Like the CBC and the GBBC, surveying an IBA involves recording when you count, where you count, and which and how many birds you see. Do you eBird? eBird provides an easy way to log your bird sightings, keep a record of your observations, and contribute to a continent-wide understanding of birds and their populations, and natural history.
So get out and start e-Birding your IBAs - it’s easy, and a great way to explore the great outdoors!
