We weren't able to pass the Clean Fuel Standard, which once again stalled out in the Senate Transportation Committee, but thanks to the support of Audubon activists, we were able to pass:
- Sustainable Farms and Fields (SB 5947)
- A Zero Emissions Vehicles mandate (SB 5811)
- A bill that sets new, ambitious net-zero greenhouse gas emissions limits (HB 2311)
- Funding for a project that will lead to responsible, efficient siting of solar energy in the Columbia Basin.
How did we do it? Audubon activists took to the streets, the town halls, and community centers to support these policies. Here's what it takes:

7,704 actions taken such as emailing and calling legislators at key moments throught the legislative session
52 local businesses signed on in target districts to support clean fuels
4 panels/forums on clean transportation organized across Puget Sound
20 Audubon activists testified in favor of the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency in 4 public hearings
450 public comments submitted by Audubon members to the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency's clean fuel standard proposals
10 Audubon members attended town halls with legislators in key districts
60 Audubon members attended Lobby Day
