Join Trina Bayard, Audubon Washington, and North Cascades Audubon to learn about the ways that estuary restoration and coastal resilience projects in Whatcom County are benefiting the birds of the Salish Sea and beyond. The trip will start with a stop at the mouth of California Creek to see estuary protection and restoration efforts led by Whatcom Land Trust, and then continue to Semiahmoo Spit to see the huge variety of birds benefiting from this work. There will be about 1.5-2 miles of walking on mixed terrain, including some uneven ground.
