Welcome Back Birds and Birders

On a wet and blustery Saturday Whidbey Audubon Society leaders met at Crockett Lake, an  Important Bird Area, to cut the ribbon for the Puget Loop Birding Trail. The anniversary day included field trips to three other state parks. The Welcome Back Birds and Birders began the fall and winter seasons that highlight Puget Sound excellent marine bird watching.  Read about it in the Whidbey Examiner.
