The Washington State Audubon Conservation Committee
The Washington State Audubon Conservation Committee (WSACC)
is a partnership of the Audubon Washington policy team and
the conservation chairs of the 26 independent Audubon chapters
in Washington. WSACC was formally chartered in 2001 to coordinate
and prioritize legislative lobbying and other policy efforts
by the Audubon flock to protect habitat for birds and other
wildlife through conservation action.
Beginning in 2003, WSACC signed on to
a slate of environmental legislative
priorities, jointly crafted by a growing coalition of
conservation groups around Washington.
To bring an issue before WSACC, use the
resolution
form.
