Jane Hartough, Finance and Administration Director
Jane joined Audubon Washington in May 1997, as director of development, with responsibility for fund-raising, financial management, and advising chapters. In August 2000, Jane was promoted to her current position, where she handles financial management, budget development and tracking, accounting, grant expenditure tracking, and forecasting. Prior to her positions with Audubon, she spent seven years as vice president of finance and development for The Georgia Conservancy, a statewide environmental advocacy and education non-profit organization headquartered in Atlanta. Previously she spent 19 years as a commercial banker in Atlanta, specializing in small businesses. She received a BA in anthropology from the University of Michigan, and did post-graduate work in business administration and accounting through programs sponsored by Georgia State University and Georgia Institute of Technology.
