 Hilary
Hilscher, Communications Coordinator
Hilary volunteered for Audubon Washington for two years,
editing publications and development materials, including
annual reports, newsletters, and our book, Important Bird
Areas of Washington, before coming on staff in June 2002.
She worked for The Nature Conservancy in both Washington and
Alaska in communications and development; her professional
background includes public relations, technical writing, news
reporting, compiling oral histories; and researching, writing,
and editing books. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism
from the University of Missouri and a master’s in business
from Alaska Pacific University.
