Hilary Hilscher, Communications Development, Great Washington State Birding Trail

Hilary began as a volunteer at Audubon Washington in the spring of 2002 and by June had joined the staff in communications and outreach. At Audubon, she contributes her experience in writing, editing, special event coordination, public and media relations, development, publications management, reporting – accumulated in her homestate of Alaska, Washington D.C., and Washington state, where she’s worked for conservation non-profits, large corporations, government and the media (and then there was the union truck-driving job on a construction project; not sure quite how that fits in…). When not at her computer, she can be found birding, sailing, hiking, reading, or practicing yoga.
