HABITAT:
Olympic National Park old-growth conifer forest, Barnes Creek.
BIRDING:

American Dipper? Definitely. Plus Gray Jays, Varied Thrushes along trailsides. Listen for Townsend’s Warblers, Pacific-slope Flycatchers, Warbling Vireos during daytime; Northern Pygmy, Northern Saw-whet, and Barred Owls at night.

VIEWING:
Take 1.5-mile trail to Marymere Falls.
ACCESS:

From Hwy 101 at milepost 227.9, turn north onto Barnes Point Rd. Drive 0.6 mile. Use picnic parking.
