| BIRDING: | Rare Tufted Puffins nest April to mid-June along with Double-crested and Pelagic Cormorants, Common Murres, Pigeon Guillemots, Peregrine Falcons, Western and Glaucous-winged Gulls. Check rocks for Black Oystercatchers and waves for Western Grebes, Surf and White-winged Scoters. Forest-dwellers include: Orange-crowned Warblers, Fox Sparrows, Pileated Woodpeckers. | ||
