| HABITAT: | 111-acre WDFW site w/ dike separating mud flats from agricultural fields; deciduous trees and shrubs on remnant delta by tide gate. |
| BIRDING: | This fine area for waterfowl, raptors, and shorebirds features reliable sightings of Trumpeter and Tundra Swans, Snow Geese, Dunlins, Greater Yellowlegs, Peregrine Falcons, Bald Eagles, American Kestrels, and Northern Harriers. Also watch for Northern Pintails and occasional Snowy Owls. |
| VIEWING: | From parking lot, take 1-mile path north along sea dike for views over mud flats and farm fields, or walk south to riparian thickets. |
| ACCESS: | From I-5, take exit 221 (Lake McMurray/Conway). Turn south onto Pioneer Hwy. Drive 4.6 miles. Turn right (west) onto Old Pacific Hwy. Immediately turn right (west) again onto unmarked gravel road. Drive 0.6 mile to parking lot. |
