HABITAT: Bald Eagles frequent Skagit River in winter to feast on salmon. Shoreline species in all seasons include Great Blue Heron and Belted Kingfisher, while spring and summer bring Common Yellowthroat, Tree Swallow, Spotted Sandpiper, and Turkey Vulture.
BIRDING: Follow 0.25-mile gravel path from parking lot to confluence of Cascade and Skagit Rivers.
VIEWING: From Hwy 20 at milepost 106, turn east and cross bridge. Turn right (south) into parking lot.
ACCESS: From Hwy 20 at milepost 130.2, turn into camping area.
