| HABITAT: | Wide footbridge over Methow River, tree-sheltered shoreline. |
| BIRDING: | Prominent spring species include American Redstart and Harlequin Duck. During spring and summer, watch for Rufous and Calliope Hummingbirds, Black-headed Grosbeaks, Cassin’s Finches, and sometimes Red Crossbills. Common Mergansers, American Dippers, Dark-eyed Juncos, Mountain Chickadees, and Red-breasted and White-breasted Nuthatches through fall. |

From Hwy 20 at milepost 184.9, turn north onto Goat Creek Rd. Drive 3.7 miles. Turn left (west) into gravel parking lot. |
