HABITAT:
16-acre municipal park at confluence of Entiat and Columbia Rivers. Lush willows and cottonwoods on one side of river w/ sparse sage-covered hillside on opposite bank.
BIRDING: Watch for Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Belted Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, Hooded Mergansers, American Dippers, Spotted Sandpipers, Western Wood-Pewees, Bullock’s Orioles, Cedar Waxwings, Mourning Doves, California Quail, Chukars, and Black-billed Magpies.
VIEWING:
Walk along shores. Look for Osprey nest across river.
ACCESS: From Hwy 97A at milepost 214.2, turn west onto Entiat River Rd. Drive 0.5 mile. Turn left (south) into parking lot.
